LIVINGWELL MEDICAL CLINIC
OPERATIONS DIRECTOR – POSITION DESCRIPTION
TITLE
The title of this position shall be Operations Director (OD) of LivingWell Medical Clinic (LWMC).
REPORTS TO AND EVALUATED BY
The OD reports to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO). The OD will be evaluated on an annual basis by the CEO in both written and oral form.
OBJECTIVE OF THE POSITION
The Operations Director objective is to provide professional operation oversight and implementation at the clinic, thrift store, and events. The primary areas of responsibility will be facility care, event support, and church liaison program. This is a permanent, part-time paid position.

1. Be a committed Christian who demonstrates a personal relationship with Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord
2. Exhibit strong commitment and dedication to the sanctity of all human life
3. Agree with and be willing to uphold the Statement of Faith, Statement of Principle and policies of LWMC
4. Able to provide spiritual leadership, discipleship, encouragement, and direction for volunteers
5. Have two years of experience as a volunteer or employee in ministry
6. Have two years of experience in a position with direct experience in supervising staff in an efficient and professional office environment
7. Able to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve facility and equipment problems
8. Exhibit strong skills in interpersonal communication
9. Detailed oriented and have good organization skills
10. Familiar with Microsoft Office Word, Excel, and Publisher
11. Have general office skills: telephone, email, and use of office equipment (copiers/printers, scanner, and fax machine)
12. Able to climb a ladder
13. Able to carry objects weighing 25 pounds up and down stairs
14. Willing to perform yard and building maintenance when volunteers are not available
15. Able to carry out duties and responsibilities with little or no supervision
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
FACILITY CARE
1. Oversee facility/property maintenance, repairs, and cleaning at the clinic, thrift store, and Mexican Hot Spot
2. Perform maintenance duties at the clinic, thrift store, and Mexican Hot Spot
3. Research and maintain a vendor list for facility care
4. Recruit and supervise volunteers for ongoing maintenance and special projects
5. Ensure OSHA compliance (training provided) at the clinic, thrift store, and Mexican Hot Spot
6. Inspect and maintain California Department of Public Health (CDPH) facility regulations (training provided)
7. Conduct CDPH required weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual inspections
8. Maintain Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) for the clinic, thrift store and Mexican Hot Spot
9. Oversight of all office and medical equipment
10. Maintain fire extinguishers and conduct and document annual fire drills
11. Oversight of supplies inventory and purchasing
12. Oversight of facility security
13. Complete other tasks as may be necessary and requested by the CEO
EVENT SUPPORT
1. Assist CEO and Development Director with collecting, organizing, and delivery of event supplies
2. Oversight of event set up and tear down
3. Recruit and supervise event volunteers
4. Assist Client Services Director and Nursing Director with annual in-service training site setup, services needed during training (meals and audio/visual), and tear down
5. Assist CEO with special events
6. Assist Development Director with processing coin from Change for Hope
7. Print, prepare bulk mailing, and mail fundraising appeals and newsletters
8. Assist Development Director with securing Walk for Hope prizes
CHUCH LIAISON PROGRAM
1. Assist CEO with training and supervision
